BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS
Registration
If you still need to, please register your student(s) for the upcoming school year. All students, both new and returning, must complete the registration/information validation process. All of the information can be found at https://www.creteschools.org/district/enrollment/registration/
Free & Reduced Meals
Meals are not free at any CPS building this year. Free and Reduced Meal Applications are available today. Stop by any school or Cardinal Welcome Center to pick one up. You only need to complete one application per household. Applications will also be mailed home. If you have completed your application, you can disregard the application. Stop by the Cardinal Welcome Center if you need assistance completing your application.
Doane/Community Back-to-School Picnic
The annual Doane/Community back-to-school picnic will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 5-8:00 PM at Doane University. Come out and enjoy free food and drinks, a free bag of school supplies, music, performances, inflatables, and snow cones. At 7:15, motivational speaker Jaime Caria will share his story of grit and a relentless drive to uplift others. Mr. Carias’s speech will be delivered in Spanish. However, translation to English will be available.
