The excitement is in the air. I had the honor of addressing the entire CPS staff on Thursday, and let me tell you; there was a feeling in the air like never before. The energy and excitement were palpable. I hope you are as excited for your student(s) to return to school as we are to welcome them.

We are working hard to provide a world-class experience for students, staff, our families, and the community. We believe that starts with effective communication. I am excited to announce three new ways to connect with CPS.

Important Dates

August 10 - First Day for students in grades K, 3, 6, and 9 (early dismissal day)
August 11 - All students return except for Preschool students
August 15 - Preschool starts
