Dawn Draeger began her counseling career at the start of the 2017-2018 school year. Previously she taught science for twenty-one years. Mrs. Draeger taught at Omaha North High School for four years and has been working with Crete Public Schools since 2000. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Doane along with a Middle School Math and Natural Science Teaching Certificate. Continuing her education, Dawn obtained her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2000 and completed her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration in 2005. Currently, at Crete High School she is involved with  Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Circle of Friends and serves as the Senior class sponsor.  Dawn lives in Crete with her husband and her children. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors, horseback riding, attending sporting events, boating, camping and exercising.

Jhonny Beltran

Jhonny Beltran is the bilingual (English and Spanish) school counselor at Crete High. Jhonny graduated from Crete High School in 2013. After graduating, he attended Central Community College-Columbus before receiving his Bachelor's degree from Doane University. Jhonny continues to further his education through Doane University's master's program in School Counseling. He is also the Multicultural Union Sponsor, GLDP sponsor, and the Boys Assistant Soccer Coach. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, eating, and watching/playing soccer. 

Brooke Vote

Brooke Vote is the registrar at Crete High School. She attended Iowa State University and majored in Financial Counseling and Planning. Brooke is married to Dana Vote, the head wrestling coach at Doane University. She has a step-daughter, Tinley, and a daughter, Sutton. She enjoys cheering on Doane's wrestling team and spending time with her family and friends.
