Welcome to the Crete Elementary website! I am honored to be the principal at Crete Elementary, working with incredible students, caring families and dedicated professional educators.

Crete Elementary is home to more than 600 students in preschool through second grade. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, and our families represent a wide variety of economic realities.

Crete Elementary is a Title 1 school organized into grade-level instructional teams. Our specialists (art, music, physical education and computer science) support students on a daily basis, as well as our interventionists, English language teachers, media specialist, counselor, school psychologist and special education staff.

At Crete Elementary, we provide a safe community, build relationships and engage students in purposeful learning.

We believe that one of the most important things we do is make relationships with students and families. We have high expectations for learning and behavior. Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible are our goals for all students.

Students are guaranteed an engaging, rigorous, balanced instructional program aligned with the Nebraska standards. The Crete Elementary staff is committed to making school a great experience for our students!

Additional special programming includes Title 1 services, the Backpack Program and partnering with our Community Learning Center, which offers after-school care, academic and enrichment clubs, as well as parent involvement activities.
