Seward Tournament Champs Congratulations to our 7th-grade team!

Hello 8th-grade parents and guardians! This week, the high school counselors have taken the time to come to the middle school to talk to your students about 9th-grade registration for next year. The students along with the counselors took 2 days to go through courses as well as choose what they would like to take. The 8th-grade teacher team has highlighted recommendations for each student’s core classes. If a student chooses a different option than what was recommended, we encourage them to talk with parents and teachers about it. Students were sent home with: Course layout worksheet (blue) Course of study packet (available in English & Spanish) Please take the time to discuss and review your student’s course selections for next year. The students can make changes to the blue sheet if needed. Once you are finished, please SIGN the blue sheet at the bottom and your student will return it. It is due Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Based on the National Weather Service’s Winter Storm Warning, there is no school or activities tomorrow, Monday, January 8, 2024. The National Weather Service predicts 8-12” of snow, which will begin falling after 8 AM on Monday. Wind gusts of 45 MPH in our area are predicted to begin Monday evening into Tuesday morning.
