Second year intermediate P.E. teacher Claire Holling received a teacher grant this year and it is a big hit! Cardio drumming provides students with a fun new way to exercise. "This grant has helped me enhance students' learning experiences by creating ways to give students the tools they need to build healthy habits that last a lifetime," said Holling. Every year the CPS Foundation awards teacher grants to enhance the classroom experience. Holling was one of 14 teachers throughout the district to receive a teacher grant. The Foundation gave out more than $34,000 in teacher grant money.

Introducing the 2024 Lloyd and Trudy Reeves Hall of Fame inductees: Dr. Michael Rapp-Class of 1972, Marcus Smith-Class of 2008, and Jane Renner Hood-Class of 1972. Accepting for Jane Renner Hood was Connie Hood The inductees were honored at half time of the boy's varsity basketball game with a reception following in the Commander's Room at the VFW. Congratulations to all of the inductees!
