REMINDER: Federal Programs Non Public Consultation Notice
On Wednesday April 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm, a meeting regarding federal programs including special education services for nonpublic schools will be conducted by Crete Public Schools. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents who have parentally-placed their child in an approved and/or accredited nonpublic school or exempt home school and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan regarding federal and special education programming in the nonpublic schools for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents of children attending a nonpublic school or exempt home school within the boundaries of Crete Public Schools are urged to attend. The meeting will be held at the Cardinal Welcome Center, 930 Main Avenue. Tonight's Varsity boys soccer match with Schuyler has been moved to Cardinal Stadium due to lighting issues at Papik Field. It will follow the MS track meet as quickly as the field can be transitioned. Expecting a slight delay in the start time or 7pm.

Boys Soccer- Due to field conditions our 4/4 soccer games with Norris will be played at Papik Field on the campus of Doane University. Time schedule will stay the same.
BASEBALL- Today's games with Columbus have been postponed due to field conditions.

The City of Crete’s Community Assistance Office is hosting a series of educational workshops designed to help families better understand the school system, prepare for college, and explore future opportunities for students. These sessions will be offered in both Spanish and English.

BASEBALL- 4/2 games in Wayne have been cancelled.
Several of our Student Ambassadors had the opportunity to visit Omaha North High School. Omaha North has been an Academy School for 12 years, and has a solid Student Ambassador team. Students spent time touring the academy classes, interacting with their ambassadors, and collaborating on an activity. They came back to CHS excited to share ideas!
