Reminder: No school for all students tomorrow, Monday, March 17, 2025. Monday is a staff professional development day. We will see all students on Tuesday. Go Cards!

As of March 14, 2025, we have used four full snow/weather days. Because students receive three βfreeβ snow days, they now need to make up one instructional day. Please note that if the district must close school on additional dates, our plan may need to be revised.
After exploring multiple options to ensure the best student learning experience, we are converting a scheduled βno-schoolβ day into an instructional day rather than adding all missed days at the end of May. This approach will help us maintain meaningful instructional time and engagement. Our seniorsβ last day will also be adjusted to meet the instructional hours set by the Nebraska Department of Education.
Student Make-Up Day-
April 22, 2025βPreviously a no-school day, it is now a regular school day for all students and staff.
Thank you for your understanding as we strive to provide our students with the highest-quality education. Please contact your studentβs building principal or the district office if you have any questions.

Due to the inclement weather, there will be no school for all students on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Wind gusts of 50+ miles per hour will continue through tomorrow morning, creating unsafe conditions for our buses and our young drivers. Please be safe, stay warm, and Go Cards!

As we continue to monitor the forecast, we have decided that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, will be a regular school day. We will continue to monitor the weather for Thursday and make a decision after we have the latest forecast from the National Weather Service. Crete Public Schools recognizes the right and responsibility of parents in the matter of school attendance. This leaves the discretion and judgment of parents to decide whether or not their student(s) attend school during inclement weather. Be well, and Go Cards!
