We are so excited that our preschoolers are heading back to Doane this spring for one of our absolute favorite traditions!
There is nothing quite like seeing our youngest learners explore the great outdoors. This incredible collaboration with Doane University provides such a rich, hands-on educational experience, and our students (and staff!) look forward to.
From discovering local nature to building teamwork skills in the fresh air, Forest Fridays are more than just a field trip—they’re where some of our best memories are made! 🍃✨

Crete Elementary students teamed up with Doane University students for an exciting Unified PE experience! The gym was full of energy, smiles, and teamwork as everyone joined in the fun. It was a fantastic day for building friendships and staying active together!
This week, 2nd graders at Crete Elementary were able to participate in a virtual author visit. Dan Gutman, author of "My Weird School" books shared all about his experiences being a writer. The event culminated in each student receiving a "My Weird School" book of their very own.

The first grade music program will be held on Thursday, March 26, at Crete High school, at 6:30 p.m. The Hudl cameras will stream the program to the Crete High Coed Performing Arts Hudl Fan Page and Crete YouTube.
There is no school for all students on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to staff training. We look forward to seeing all of our students on Tuesday, March 17. Be well and GO CARDS!
