This Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 4-6 PM, we’re hosting an open house at College Heights Country Club to celebrate Bill’s commitment to our students, staff, and community through his work on the CPS Board of Education.
After 25 years of dedicated service, Bill announced his resignation from the Board on Monday. Let’s come together to show our appreciation for all he has done. Hope to see you there!
Yesterday, first graders in Miss Lopez's classroom were honored with a special visit from Staff Sergeant Brynnet Estrada! In celebration of Veteran's Day, SSG Estrada shared her experiences and answered our students' thoughtful questions, helping them understand the importance of service and sacrifice. We are incredibly grateful for her time and dedication, both to our country and to inspiring our young learners. Thank you, SSG Estrada, for your service and for making this day memorable for our students! ❤️💙

📏 In Mrs. Churchwell’s kindergarten class, our mathematicians are hard at work practicing their measuring skills! This week, they teamed up in groups to sort objects based on whether they are “longer than” or “shorter than” another object. The excitement was contagious as they discussed, compared, and learned from one another—hands-on math at its best! 🌟 We’re so proud of these little mathematicians for thinking critically and working together. 💡
🌲 Forest Friday! 🌲 Our preschoolers had an adventure with Mrs. Sunneberg to Doane University's outdoor classroom! 🌳 Huge thanks to the Doane Education students who went above and beyond to make this such a memorable experience. Our little explorers loved every minute of it, learning about nature, making new friends, and soaking up all the fun! 🌞🍃
