National School Counselors Week is a dedicated time to recognize and celebrate the vital role school counselors play in supporting students' academic, social-emotional, and career development, highlighting their significant impact on student success by providing guidance, counseling services, and crisis intervention, while advocating for comprehensive school counseling programs that ensure every student receives the necessary support to thrive in school and life. We want to thank Mrs. Draeger, Mr. Kucera, & Mr. Quinn for all they do. for the students and staff at CHS!
February is Career and Technical Education Month! This is a time to raise awareness of the role that CTE has in readying our students for careers and college and helping our nation achieve economic success and workforce competitiveness.
With tonight's exciting victory the boys basketball team will play in the Central Conference Championship game Saturday at 5pm. The Cards will play Aurora at Columbus Lakeview HS.

Join our Youth Volleyball Spring League, where players will focus on mastering the fundamentals of volleyball, including defense, serving, passing, setting, and attacking. Older age groups will also be introduced to rotational systems, such as the 5-1 and 6-2, to further develop their understanding of team play and strategy.
This league is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to build skills, gain confidence, and experience competitive play in a supportive and fun environment!

The Crete at Ralston football game originally scheduled for October 3rd, 2025 has been moved to October 2nd to accommodate the Thursday Night Lights TV broadcast for CW Omaha!
Good Luck to the Girls Basketball team as they head to Adams Central for the 1st round of Conference play tonight! The game will start at 5:30pm! See Conference bracket for games to follow #GOCards!!
Come cheer on the Boys Basketball team as they host the 1st round of the Conference Tournament. The Cardinals will play York at 6:00pm Tuesday, January 28th. Students get in FREE with their ID. No athletic passes will be accepted for Conference games. See you tomorrow night!

Schedule update- Central Conference Basketball Quarterfinals. Boys teams will be the #2 seed and host #7 York in a 6pm matchup on 1/28. Girls are the #5 and travel to #4 Adams Central on 1/28 at 5:30pm.

The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is pleased to announce the student recipients of the Fall 2024 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Academic All-State Awards. Since 2006 this NSAA Awards Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity. Each year the NSAA and the NCPA recognize students during Fall, Winter, and Spring Seasons who are nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership, and significant contributions in their NSAA activity. Come check out the Cards basketball teams on Friday and Saturday at the Doane Holiday Tournament in Haddix Gym. Girls play at 1pm and boys at 2:45 on Friday. Admission is free for CHS students with their student ID.
