On Wednesday, March 6, the Future Scientists of America club at the high school hosted a blood drive that was open to the students and staff of the high school as well as community members. They collected 82 units of blood, which could potentially save up to 246 lives! They also were able to secure over $800 for scholarships for our seniors. Family Literacy parents visited the blood drive to learn more about this community resource. The club's officers answered questions and provided an overview of the blood drive for the parents.
